Landowner Rights and Energy Development

Speaker: Tiffany Dowell is an Assistant Professor & Extension Specialist in Agricultural Law with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.  In this role, she focuses specifically on legal issues affecting landowners, including water rights, oil and gas law, leasing, eminent domain and easements.  Tiffany grew up on her family’s farm and ranch in Eastern New Mexico, received her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Farm and Ranch Management from Oklahoma State University in 2006 and her law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2009.  Prior to joining Texas A&M, Tiffany worked for 4 years at a law firm in Albuquerque, NM practicing civil litigation.  Tiffany is licensed to practice law in New Mexico and Texas.
